About Me

My name is Lena. I live permanently in Japan. I do web design and programming.
Recently passed the exam for the second level of JAVA programming. For me it was a challenge: to get a completely new specialty for me in Japanese. Happened.
Now new goals: start earning freelance and create a good application on Android Studio. This site is my portfolio and diary about my development. And just notes about life in Japan.
In addition to programming, I professionally study Luneville embroidery. And I’ve been doing ikebana for about 10 years.
The blog in no way claims to be "ultimate truth", this is my private subjective opinion. I write because I just love to write.

RESULTS
The results of the year are the most important part of my reflection on my growth. How much progress have I made in the course of the year? And how are my plans going?
2025
This year, I've been doing more guiding. A new achievement is walking 20,000 steps a day. I've visited most of the museums in Tokyo and the surrounding prefectures.
And professional embroidery. Over 500 pieces have been sold.
Now I've become interested in a new area: women's beauty and health. I'm conducting research in this field in Japan.
2024
This year I made two more websites. And finished my third work on my embroidery. I went to Hiroshima to the Toho plant. And I participated in several master classes on embroidery.
2023
This year I have made great progress for myself.
1. I rented a 2nd place to sell my jewelry. In a more fashionable, new and popular place. Now I have 2 small shops where I sell my handmade goods.
2. Started learning embroidery from a famous Luneville embroidery designer in Tokyo.
In Lemmikko's studio. Mastered the Luniville hook. I began to better understand materials, colors, combinations. Today I am doing my third work.
2022
I continued to make jewelry for sale and trained a lot and searched for my style.
2021
This is the second year I have been making my own jewelry. And it’s surprising to me that someone has the same taste and girls buy my jewelry. It's no longer about money, but about doing what you love. Which began to bring in money.
