I always wanted to gain work experience in my specialty in Japan.

I recently started working for a small company that manages several homes for seniors with Alzheimer's syndrome.

Our team of 4 people handles all accounting.

If we break it down by type, it is

1. Work with personnel. From hiring to calculating holidays, bonuses, and salaries. Verifying the correctness of staff shift according to working hours. This also includes registration of medical insurance and unemployment benefits. A separate large item is the annual recalculation of income and municipal taxes.

2. Work with clients’ insurances according to the severity of the disease. Reinstatement of insurance premiums from the country.

3. Direct control over cash flows in nursing homes. And the guests' cash.

4. Registration and support of foreign workers. Maintaining a dormitory for workers.

Now I have a better understanding of Japanese accounting.

Very busy job. But in a year you can gain enormous work experience.
